IT ALL BEGINS WITH TWO SISTERS

La Canopée is, above all, the story of two visionary and passionate sisters who, in 2017, gave birth to a 100% natural, 100% vegan, and proudly made-in-France cosmetics brand.

Cécile, a chemical engineer specializing in green chemistry, and Juliette, a designer and communications expert, devoted three years of intensive research and development to creating exceptional skincare products.

Since then, seven years of marketing and close interaction with their customers have allowed them to build solid expertise in green chemistry, a field that lies at the heart of their approach.

WHY LA CANOPÉE?

The name La Canopée was not chosen by chance. It was born from a spontaneous suggestion by Cécile and Juliette’s father.
In botany, the canopy refers to the upper layer of forests, where the treetops rise and intertwine to form a dense canopy of greenery, teeming with life. It is a world unto itself, still little explored, which shelters remarkable, often unique, biodiversity. A place of symbiosis and balance, where each species plays its role in perfect harmony.

It is this spirit that La Canopée infuses into each of its formulas: a living cosmetic line, 100% of natural origin, which draws on the richness of plants to reveal all the skin’s beauty. This name is a promise: that of a powerful, preserved nature placed at the heart of everything.
