Identify your skin type to adapt your routine!
Before choosing your cosmetics, it is necessary to know your skin type in order to find a routine that suits you best.
To be effective, cosmetics need to be personalized!
There are 3 main skin types: dry skin, normal skin, and oily skin. These different skin types vary from person to person, but it is rare to be able to change the fundamental nature of our skin. It is a matter of understanding it and giving it what it needs!
Beyond skin type, there is also the environment. Indeed, the appearance and needs of your skin can be influenced by external factors (pollution, cigarettes, diet, medication, season…) but also internal ones (stress, hormonal variations, illnesses…). Skin concerns therefore change throughout our lives and can depend on geographical location, the season, age...
Our skin type, or skin nature, is closely linked to the state of our hydrolipidic film. Have you ever heard this technical term to describe the skin?
What is the hydrolipidic film?
It is a thin layer of water and oil, essential for the epidermis. It protects against dehydration but also against external aggressions by acting as a protective barrier. This hydrolipidic film is the guarantee of a fresh complexion and plump skin.
Having an adapted cosmetic routine means taking care of your hydrolipidic film, strengthening it, and pampering it so that it can fulfill its role!
What are the characteristics of each skin type:

° Dry skin is thin skin that does not produce enough sebum to protect and provide comfort and suppleness. The hydrolipidic film is nonexistent or deteriorated, so it cannot fulfill its role. Dry skin, as the name suggests, dehydrates easily and can also trigger patches of dry, flaky skin.

° Normal skin is the most common skin type but also the most comfortable and aesthetic! It has no particular concerns but can vary depending on the environment, mood, and season. It can therefore have combination episodes: normal to dry on the cheeks and oily tendency on the T-zone. It is therefore a matter of listening to your skin and knowing how to provide it with what it needs at the right time.

° Oily skin is rather thick skin with large, visible pores that produces excess sebum. It is a rather rare skin type but very recognizable. This excess sebum clogs the pores, which produces small imperfections, notably blackheads on the T-zone with rather large pores. However, oily skin has a great advantage: it is less sensitive to irritation and skin diseases and ages much better because it maintains its hydration well.
But what then is combination skin?
Combination skin is not exactly a skin type; it is a skin imbalance that can be due to different factors: products that are too abrasive, pollution, poor diet, stress, a poor cosmetic routine, etc.
It is characterized by a rather dry area such as the cheeks, the contour of the eyes and mouth, and a rather oily area such as the forehead, nose, and chin.
Dry and normal skin types can have combination episodes. It is then a matter of understanding what may be causing them and helping the skin to rebalance itself. In the case of combination skin, it is necessary to request a skin diagnostic because, before recommending a cosmetic routine, we must understand what is unbalancing your skin.
Our suggestions for each skin type:
Dry skin: A moisturizing trio!
First of all, apply our Hydrating Mediterranean Flower Mist. Continue with our Universal Cream, and finally complete this routine by adding a few drops of the Ultra-nourishing Oleaginous Serum to seal and maintain hydration throughout the day. It is a cosmetic ritual that helps provide comfort and skin elasticity!
Normal skin: the freedom to compose!
It is lucky to have skin that a priori has no particular concerns. However, one must listen to its needs and the season.
We therefore recommend a daily duo here to provide vitamins and radiance to the complexion! This duo consists of the multivitamin wake-up cream and the night cream with oxygenating active ingredients.

Oily skin: A cleansing trio!
To start, apply a little Perfection Lotion with cleansing active ingredients to the problem areas. Then apply the Perfect Skin Fluid to cleanse your skin throughout the day. Complete this routine with a few drops of the Purifying Essential Synergy Serum to help regulate sebum secretions.
As you will have understood: every skin is different and therefore requires a particular routine in order to be enhanced.
Our skin, at any time, can encounter issues that will need to be resolved, such as imperfections, irritation, allergies, loss of skin tone, a dull complexion, or the first wrinkles. Throughout life, needs evolve and it is a matter of staying tuned to your skin.
Let yourself be guided by our advice and do not hesitate to ask for a skin diagnostic!
