How does our cream work on dehydration lines?
A word from the chemist
Dehydration lines become more pronounced when the stratum corneum, the most superficial layer of the epidermis, lacks water. It loses its suppleness, and small surface wrinkles become more visible. This is therefore not just a matter of age, but also of hydration.
To target them, we have built our concentrated plumping cream around two complementary actions: retaining water and limiting its loss. Low molecular weight hyaluronic acid and glycerin are humectants; they attract and retain water to improve skin hydration. Our lipid phase, which notably combines macadamia and sesame oils, complements this action by helping to curb its evaporation.
Better hydrated, the skin regains its suppleness and appears smoother and plumper. It is this improvement in hydration that helps to soften the appearance of dehydration lines.
