ITS ORIGIN:
The charcoal we use is called Bin Cho Tan. It is obtained from Ubame oak wood in Japan, thanks to expertise that is over a century old!
The wood is calcined at high temperatures, then water vapor is injected to create microscopic pores on the surface of the charcoal. These openings serve to capture and neutralize various substances (pollution, sebum, impurities...) on the surface of the epidermis.
The forests from which the Ubame oaks are sourced are managed by the Japanese government in a sustainable and reasoned manner.
