Relaxing self-massages: take care of yourself every day
Taking a few minutes for yourself can sometimes be enough to transform your day.
That is why we are offering you 3 relaxing self-massages, simple, quick, and accessible to everyone, even without any special technique.
These gentle movements can easily become a daily relaxation routine, in the evening to release tension, or at any time of the day, as soon as you feel stress building up.
Indeed, when you massage yourself and slow down, your body naturally switches to "calming" mode. It decreases the production of cortisol (the stress hormone) and promotes the release of endorphins and oxytocin, hormones associated with well-being, relaxation, and comfort.
These small gestures, seemingly very simple, help release tension accumulated in the face, scalp, or hands, and contribute to overall well-being, for both the body and the mind.
Your turn! A few minutes are all you need to reconnect with yourself.

Anti-tension facial self-massage 👩 :
Grab your favorite oil serum (Antiox, Synergie, or Ultra-nourrissant).
Warm your hands by rubbing them together.
Place your palms on your cheeks and breathe deeply.
Then wrap your face with your hands, like a caress moving up toward your ears. Repeat this motion at least 5 times. The goal is to smooth upward toward the temples and ears.
This motion is very comforting and helps release tension.
To intensify relaxation, loosen your jaw muscle with small circular movements on the masseter (the jaw muscle). Perform 10 small circles, applying more or less pressure depending on your sensitivity. Breathe deeply and try to release as much pressure as possible from the jaw.
With your fingers in a V-shape, rub around your ears with a fairly quick motion, but without too much pressure, to warm up the area and reactivate circulation. This warmth relaxes you immediately and helps release tension in the skull and around the jaw.
Next, perform pressure on your eyebrows, starting at the beginning of the brow and moving gently toward the tail. Apply deep, painless pressure. This helps relax the facial expression muscles that are used heavily every day.
Finally, with your palms, smooth your forehead starting from the center and moving toward the temples.
This express massage can be practiced every day, ideally in the evening when removing makeup with oil, or when applying your oil serum.
Scalp massage 💆🏼♀️ :
Using the pads of your fingers, make small circles all over your skull:
starting from the base of the neck and moving up to the crown,
then from the temples toward the crown,
finally from the forehead toward the top of the skull.
Next, gently grab your hair (if you can) by separating it into two sections (right and left), then lift one side then the other to slightly lift the scalp.
You can also perform small back-and-forth movements. This activates blood circulation and releases slight adhesions in the scalp skin.
For those with no hair or very short hair:
place your fingers firmly on your skull and make small circles to slightly pull the skin and make it move.
The desired result is the same: to activate circulation and release tension.
Hand self-massage 🤚🏼 :
Grab your massage balm.
Press your thumb into the palm of your other hand with deep circular motions. If you feel tension, focus slightly on the sensitive areas.
If needed, perform pressure points: press for 5 to 6 seconds on a tense area, then release.
Massage the entire inside of the hand, then move up each finger, wrapping it as best you can. Breathe deeply during the massage.
When you reach the fingertips, stretch them slightly.
This massage is ideal for quickly warming up cold hands and is very relaxing, as they accumulate a great deal of tension throughout the day.
Summary
These relaxing self-massages offer a moment of well-being that is simple and accessible to all. With a few movements on the face, scalp, and hands, they help release tension, stimulate circulation, and soothe both body and mind. An easy routine to adopt daily to relax, slow down, and take care of yourself.
